All the Provinces of Pakistan have many tourists spots, archeological sites and much more. Pakistan is a country with diverse cultures, breathtaking landscapes, and a rich history, making it a fascinating tourist destination. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) has many beautiful spots of the world. Dir Upper a far flung district of KP have some extremely beautiful and exquisite spots of the world, include Kumrat Valley, Badgoi Pass, Jehazbanda, Kund Banda, Shell Top, Junkai Valley,   Some of the famous tourist spots in Dir include:

Kumrat Valley: Kumrat Valley in Dir Upper District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. Kumrat Valley is a popular tourist destination known for its scenic beauty, lush green forests, snow-capped peaks, and crystal clear waterfalls. It is located in the Upper Dir district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province and is situated at an altitude of 7,500 feet above sea level. The valley is surrounded by tall mountains and is home to diverse wildlife and flora. Some of the popular tourist attractions in Kumrat Valley include the Jahaz Banda Meadows, Katora Lake, Panjkora River, and the Badagoi Pass. The valley can be accessed by road from the nearby cities of Peshawar, Chitral, and Islamabad.

Jehaz Banda: Jehaz Banda is a scenic meadow located near Kumrat Valley in the Upper Dir district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in Pakistan. The name "Jehaz Banda" translates to "ship-like formation," which is derived from the shape of the meadow that resembles a ship. Jehaz Banda is located at an altitude of around 3,300 meters (10,800 feet) above sea level and is accessible by trekking through the Kumrat Valley.

The meadow is surrounded by snow-capped mountains and is known for its breathtaking views of the valley and the surrounding peaks. Visitors can also spot diverse wildlife in the meadow, including Himalayan ibex, musk deer, snow leopard, and a variety of birds. The best time to visit Jehaz Banda is from May to September when the weather is pleasant, and the meadow is covered in lush greenery and colorful wildflowers.

Tourists can also trek further from Jehaz Banda to reach other scenic spots like Katora Lake, which is a beautiful high-altitude lake surrounded by mountains and is known for its crystal-clear waters. Other popular attractions in the area include the Panjkora River, which flows through the valley and is known for its scenic beauty and fishing opportunities.

Badagoi Pass: Badagoi Pass in Dir Upper district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. Badagoi Pass is a high mountain pass located at an altitude of about 13,000 feet (3,962 meters) above sea level, and it connects Upper Dir district with Chitral district. The pass offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains, valleys, and streams, and it is known for its challenging trekking trails.

The trek to Badagoi Pass is considered to be a difficult and adventurous journey, and it is recommended for experienced trekkers who are physically fit and acclimatized to the high altitude. The trek involves crossing steep ridges, snow-capped peaks, and narrow trails, which can be quite challenging, but the views from the top of the pass are rewarding.

The trek to Badagoi Pass starts from the village of Kumrat in Upper Dir district and usually takes around three to four days to complete. The trek offers an opportunity to explore the natural beauty of the area, including the lush green forests, crystal clear streams, and scenic waterfalls. Along the way, trekkers can also experience the local culture and hospitality of the people living in the remote mountainous region.

 Kund Banda: The path that goes down from the rest house towards the valley is called Kudn Banal by the locals. There is a small elongated field here, in which a small stream or canal flows in a zigzag pattern, which amazes people who see it. This stream is called Neel Dar.

The sky began to darken with clouds, the weather changed and a light drizzle began with thunder. I turned towards the Kund Bandha, a piece of paradise that lay below twenty minutes of waterfall footsteps, and descended towards it. On the left side of the waterfall was a mountain-like mound with snow-capped peaks, where clouds descended like smoke, and perhaps fairies turned into the form of a naked river, whose water was certainly cold but not swift, and its transparency was such that the sitting stones in its depths delighted the eyes of lovers and provided pleasure.

This river had its own colors, it was a clear water stream with grass patches on its banks, where trains of tents had been set up. There was a wooden block that descended into the paradise on the left hand as soon as you entered. Outside of which, tables and chairs were arranged for drinking tea, reminiscent of a movie scene. To cross the river, a thirty-foot long pole made of wooden pieces was used, with gates made of three pieces of wood on both ends, and on the slope of the mountain opposite the river, a dense, small forest of tall trees made this paradise more attractive. Kund Bandha is included in cool and clear places that appeal to the first sight, where as soon as you arrive, your heart desires to spend many nights here, but time does not permit such vastness, so I only got a few hours to spend here.
